Crafting Speculative Futures: A Fiction-Writing Workshop

Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah, author of the national bestseller Chain Gang All-Stars, explores and unpacks the process of creative writing in relation to real-world systems of environmental and social injustice. He will be joined by organizers from the Center for Community Alternatives (CCA)  and editors and writers from Mend, a journal featuring the work of writers and artists impacted by mass incarceration. Adjei-Brenyah and the CCA and  Mend teams will lead workshop participants in the creation and sharing of their own creative work.
